AltConf 2015 announces Call for Speakers

05 MARCH 2015
AltConf is back and bigger than ever. The Call for Speakers is open until April 6, 2015.

The beloved alternative conference to Apple’s WWDC is back and bigger than ever. This year marks the fifth iteration of AltConf, which is held the same week and in the same area as WWDC. This labor of love is organized by a distributed group of volunteers from around the world. As with every year, dates for WWDC are unknown until Apple announces them, but regardless of that, planning for AltConf continues. One new feature that’s been added for 2015 is a Call for Speakers.

AltConf organizers welcome a wide range of topics related to the Apple platform. Whether it’s a deep-dive technical talk, advice about marketing your app, debating about design, or how to survive the indie life, it’s no holds barred on what potential speakers can submit.

To encourage a diverse speaker lineup, all papers will be anonymized by removing any identifying information before being screened by a panel of 4 members from the iOS/Mac community. Multiple submissions are welcome.

The due date to submit a talk is April 6, 2015. The selection of speakers will be announced by the end of April.

Put the Alt in AltConf and submit a talk!
