Confirmed dates, CfS re-opened, and more speakers

14 APRIL 2015

Thanks to Apple’s announcement today, AltConf is now confirmed to happen on June 8-12, 2015 at the Metreon in downtown San Francisco. If you were on the fence before about submitting a talk because of the unknown dates, you’ve got a second chance! The Call for Speakers is re-opened for a limited time from now until Sunday, April 19 (closing at midnight PDT). Well over 100 submissions were received and many more are expected during the re-opening. Creative topics and descriptive abstracts are encouraged. A panel of four has been elected to review the anonymized submissions and selections will be confirmed by mid-May.
